The easiest way to use spider is to select your whole squad and tell them to stand on the edge of the wall. However the Merchant up at the first place, the Keep where the Scavangers are establishing their camp once you drove the Soraks out, well he's got both a 'Fly' potion and also a 'Fly' scroll for sale. 'Fly' spell is supposed to be a lot easier to use but you probably won't have it. In fact I found it impossible until I activated the 'planear look via clicking in the Bottom RN corner which flew up lots of white squares where you can misty step to, but you will need the central mouse button to move the 'plane' up and down until it is level with you - it's frustratingly difficult to do successfuly but it can be done.
